This project was fun because I got to do all the illustrations for it myself. Trying to make a skeleton look athletic was trying, but ended up working in the end. This project involved a total of 20 different pieces from 6 foot by 5 foot banners to quarter sheet flyers.
This poster was my attempt at using different fills and strokes to create text. The illustration is stock as are the leaves, but I like the way the type turned out.
This was my first attempt at hand illustrating type for a poster. I sketched and inked the title before scanning it. I then imported the images into Illustrator and used the pen tool to create vectors. All in all I think it turned out well.
This was another project where I was able to illustrate everything from scratch. The text treatments were inspired by the way Jared Nickerson uses layers of the same color to create textures inside objects.
